In 2005, Niaz Foundation was established with a clear-eyed understanding of a profound injustice: children with special needs in Pakistan's rural communities had almost no access to the specialist education they deserved.
Families who could not afford private specialist schooling faced an unacceptable choice — send their child to an underprepared mainstream school, or forgo education entirely. We were built to change that. Not with temporary interventions. Not with dependency-creating handouts. We began with one school in the heart of rural Pakistan.
